Pragya puran katha, Navkundi gayatri mantra and a book fair has been organized at Kishunipur ghat and Paragi Purwa. A Kalasha Yatra and Gayatri Mantra are also part of the activities. A rehabilitation centre for children, women and the aged will also be inaugurated. All functions will take place from January 26 to 31.

A team of 19 members has been constituted to assess the work done by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in the financial year 2009-10. The team will inspect five gram panchyats in each block and submit the report to the government by January 31. Mr K K Dixit will carry out the inspection in Rampur-Mathura village.

Seventy two Eucalyptus and 8 Gulmohar tress will be up for auction on January 23. Each bidder has to deposit Rs 10,000 as security to obtain a valid token for the auction that will be held at Vikas Khand Rampur Parisar(Compound) .
A quarter of the final bid has to be paid by the end of the auction itself. The remaining three quarters must be given within 7 days of the auction. It is important to note that the trees must be removed within 15 days of the auction.

Kisan Shri Daya Ram says that to protect the vegetables grown on creepers 10 ml of melathion should be mixed with 500gm of molasses and sprayed on the plants. To further protect the plants 1ml of Trisodoform should be mixed in 1ltr of water and sprayed two times on the crop.

The Central government has started an insurance scheme for domestic and milk-yielding animals. Fifty per cent of insurance cost will be borne by the owner and the balance will be paid by the government. Two camps have been organized for students of intermediate standard for the year 2010 at GIP. The first camp was from January 4 to 13, and the second is scheduled from January 16 to 25.
